The Fies ‘Centrale’ (or power station,) is industrial, archaeological evidence of a hydro-electric plant built in the early twentieth century. It is located in Dro, within the natural habitat of the "Marocche" on the road that links Trento and Riva del Garda, below some of the most important slopes for climbing and base-jump in the world. The Fies ‘Centrale’ is primarily an art workspace, and is among the most active of its kind in Italy, as well as being home to an international festival of performing arts. All sorts of initiatives relating to the contemporary arts have their roots right here.
Inside the Fies ‘Centrale,’ FIES CORE has been created, a spin-off of the structure aimed at stimulating new ways of co-working in the renovated premises and at managing the rental of the space for events of various types. This location is available as an original venue for events of different sizes, thanks to its 5 multi-purpose rooms and a surrounding park: photo shoots; conventions; gala dinners; workshops; team-building and team coaching; art and business. The Fies ‘Centrale’ is the ideal choice when the location forms the decisive factor in the communicative aspect of an event, due also to a well-trained team of staff that can follow the event through from concept to organisation.
Within Fies ‘Centrale’ it is also possible, on request, to make familiarisation trips amongst the works of the private collection of performing arts and also in the areas dedicated to resident artists, where you can discreetly admire their new works and gain inspiration.
