This building is situated in the Casalini area on the outskirts of Sanzeno, 25km from the San Michele all’Adige motorway exit. The museum is dedicated to the history of the ‘ Val di Non’ from the ice age to late antiquity and contains the most important archaeological finds discovered in the area. The visit to the museum unfolds along an educational trail, deliberately called “The well of time.” It starts in the basement of the building and spirals upwards, following the entire history of the Val di Non, starting from prehistoric creations, continuing with Rhaetian and Roman evidence, and then on to the medieval exhibits of the Goths and Lombards. A 52-seat room with basic technical requirements is available. The museum is managed by the office for Archaeological Assets of the Trento Superintendence and is open from March 1st to 30th November.
