The Val di Fassa can be found in the extreme north-eastern part of Trentino and borders with the Veneto region, the province of Bolzano, the Val di Fiemme and the tourist area promoted by the San Martino di Castrozza tourist board. The key feature of this area is the Dolomite range, and right here the mountains reach the peak of their natural beauty where they are tinged with pink. Another interesting aspect of the Val di Fassa is the Ladina culture, a mixture of habits and customs which, despite the passing of time, continue to survive in this area, thanks to the numerous initiatives promoted by the locals. The major tourist destinations in this area include: Canazei, Moena, Pozza di Fassa and Vigo di Fassa.
