Built between 1239 and 1255 on a rocky outcrop, the Buonconsiglio Castle is the most important non-religious building in the Trentino region. The building is surrounded by high walls, and is known for its beautiful Italian garden, its numerous frescoes and the various, large halls inside.
Nowadays, the castle has been transformed into the provincial Art Museum and is home to a variety of sculptures, archaeological finds, graphic works and paintings, amongst which is ‘The Cycle of the Months,’ considered to be the international gothic emblem.
Inside Buonconsiglio Castle there are four conference rooms, called the Great Hall, the ‘Marangonerie Hall,’ the Refectory Hall and the Lodge of Romanino. All these rooms are equipped with basic technical requirements and can seat from 80 to 130 people.
