Constructed in the XIII century, the Palace of the Magnificent Community of Fiemme was originally intended as the temporary seat of the Bishop’s vicar, who came to the valley to deliver justice twice a year.
Over the years, it is been subject to various extensions and renovation, and the palace reached the height of its beauty during the renaissance period when the humanist, Bernardo Clesio, called artists of the highest order to Cavalese in order to decorate the building with frescoes.
Halfway through the XIX century, it was purchased by the Magnificent Community of Fiemme. Today the palace is one of the most beautiful renaissance residences in the whole of Trentino and houses, within its walls, a museum-gallery. Amongst the most important operas held here is a series of frescoes painted by Fogolino and a collection of paintings by great artists from the Fiemme School of Painting.
Inside the palace there is a very well-equipped multi-functional hall that can be used for meetings and events for up to a maximum of 100 participants.
