Situated in the north-eastern part of Trentino, Val di Fiemme sits between the Monte Corno Natural Park, the San Pellegrino Valley, the Paneveggio Natural Park, the Latemar range, Pale di San Martino, Lagorai and Cermis. The Avisio stream runs through the middle of the area, which has its administrative and economic centres in the famous town of Cavalese, although the largest centre in the valley is Predazzo.
