Geocaching is the ‘high-tech treasure hunt’ of the new millennium as it involves searching for hidden containers (caches) using a GPS receiver. Among the most important educational purposes of this activity are increasing team spirit, enhancing a sense of belonging to a group and improving one's predisposition for change.
OUR PROPOSAL: “GEOTREKKING AND CHANGE”
After an initial briefing and a brief technical preparation on the sport of geocaching, participants will be divided into groups and with the help of a GPS receiver will look for caches scattered over an unknown area. At the end of the competition a moment of reflection led by an expert trainer who will lead the participants to analyse the various behaviours they have adopted during Geocaching, will follow.
